Preparing your pet's fur for creation
The first step in the process is to properly prepare the fur so that it can be integrated into the jewelry. Here are my tips to ensure optimal preservation:
a) Gently collect the fur
If you anticipate making a piece of jewelry before your pet passes away, it is best to collect some fur during regular grooming.
Either with a brush or by choosing a discreet lock to gently cut.
You can also ask your veterinarian or regular groomer to do it if the moment is delicate.
Also, check the description of my product sheets. Often, I specify the ideal thickness of the fur depending on the creation (thick, fluffy, soft…)
b) Clean the fur (if necessary)
If the fur is slightly dusty, you can gently clean it with a mild, suitable shampoo, then let it air dry completely.
Avoid using a hairdryer, which could damage the fibers.
I must admit, the ideal is to have only the fur, without flea dirt, lint, or other… impurities.
c) Store the fur in good condition
Place the fur in an airtight bag or envelope, away from moisture.
If you plan to send it to me, avoid overly bulky containers to facilitate shipping.
And most importantly, do not send all of the fur, whiskers, or other precious keepsakes you have.
Sometimes, the Post Office loses mail, so it would be a shame if everything was lost!
Although I can reassure you, so far, it has never happened to me. Phew.
Placing an order: express your wishes and inspirations

a) Choose your model

Include a heartfelt letter telling me your story and, if possible, a photo of your pet. This helps me capture its essence in the creation and better express the "intuitive" side that I love to listen to.
If you don't have fur, have you thought about checking your pet's fabrics? (Cushions, blankets, toys...)
Sometimes we forget, but we can collect directly from them! If you don't have fur, don't worry.
I also work with whiskers, canine teeth, claws, photos, ashes, etc.
Artisan creation: an alchemy of emotion and expertise
Once the fur is received, the creation process begins in my workshop. Each step is carried out with the utmost care, to transform this raw material into a unique piece of jewelry that will bring you comfort.
a) Preparation of the fur
The hairs are delicately selected one by one and cleaned (without product).
They are arranged according to your preferences, for example in a circle in a medallion, in a spiral, or straight in the center of a hexagonal piece.
b) Incrustation in resin
The resin used is of excellent quality, transparent and resistant.
It is poured in several stages to encapsulate the hairs and create an aesthetic and durable finish.
- First layer: A thin layer of resin is applied to stabilize the hairs on the colored background, which will also be handmade by me.
- Adding elements: According to your choices, I then add glitter or other decorative elements that you have previously chosen.
- Final layers and finishing: The last layers of resin are applied for a smooth, shiny finish and to ensure good protection of your jewelry over time.
Delivery: your jewelry awaits you
Once the jewelry is finalized, it is carefully packaged in an elegant box.
Ready to be gifted or worn. I take the time to keep you informed throughout the process, with photos of the different stages if you wish.
You are notified when your envelope arrives at my workshop and then when your creation leaves, thanks to a tracking number.

The average lead time currently is 2 to 3 weeks, excluding year-end holidays.
Depending on the complexity of the order, the number of jewelry items to create, and the status of my stock to replenish or not from my supplier.
